Pride in Place: Community Consultation

Pride in Place is a ten-year government programme, offering long-term funding to specific local areas across the UK. In Scotland, 14 areas are being funded, and one of those is in Edinburgh. This is: Bingham, Magdalene, The Christians and Niddrie.

Pride in Place is designed to give power to local people to decide how you would like to shape your area and see the money spent. For this to happen, we need to make sure the government hears from as many residents as possible.

That is why on Friday 6th March 2026, Community Alliance Trust will be facilitating a community consultation at St Martin’s in Magdalene.

This is a chance to come along and chat to Chris Murray MP - to let him know what matters to you and what you would like to see locally.
